Starting the 5th chapter in Gilphor’s Horde leveling journal. I’m probably going to finish Eastern Plaguelands today. Once I’m done with this zone I’d go to Tanaris or Badlands. There’s high terrain accessibility in these zones. I’m curious where Zygor horde leveling guide is going to take me.

Yep, it’s Badlands. Got myself a rocket flight there from Light’s Hope Chapel. Cool quest!

I forgot to mention that I joined a level 4 guild with this character so I’m getting the 5% bonus to my XP. Anyway, that’s far from being the bonus I would get if I had the chest, shoulders, helm and cloak Heirloom pieces. Therefore, sometimes Zygor leveling guide jumps over a set of quests since I advance faster than usual. For example, today it skipped for me the last cluster of quests at the end of Burning Steppes.

Today I cleared Badlands, Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes. After 6 hours and about 20 minutes played today, I’m level 52 and almost 2/3. Gilphor currently has 1 day, 6 hours and 23 minutes played.  The XP rate for this leveling session was a bit more than 1 level per hour which I think it’s not bad at all.

Didn’t meet too many Alliance players today, just two, and today was my turn to win the battles, muahhaha! Anyway, I didn’t remain to camp their corpses like they did to me in Eastern Plaguelands. That would be a waste of time.

Gilphor Horde Leveling Time for 5th Leveling Session

Went to train my Herbalism profession for 300-375, prior to starting the quests in Swamp of Sorrows since it’s crammed with flowers so I’m going to get an insane skill-up here. However, I logged here for now and calling it a day. So far, this Horde leveling guide hasn’t disappointed me.

So here it ends the 5th chapter in my Horde leveling journal. Click the link below to see the summary of my next leveling session.

Gilphor Horde Leveling Guide Journal Day 4 - Part 1

Couldn’t sleep well for some reason and I woke up at 6:00 AM. Decided to get a gigantic cup of coffee and start the day with a leveling session on Gilphor. Before leaving for work I got 2 hours to play so, here begins my 4th chapter in this Horde leveling journal.

Managed to hit level 40 before going to work, in about 2 hours or so … AND NOW I’M LAAAATE! Should I tell the boss I’m late ‘cos I had to take my pally to level 40? :lol: .

Can’t wait to get home and buy my epic mount.

Came home, got my epic riding skill and continued with the leveling. I managed to hit level 45, and Gilphor still has less than 24 hours played.

I finished with Western Plaguelands today, this morning actually, but didn’t have time to mention. Since I was 2 levels over Zygor’s guide, I turned on the dynamic progress and it skipped the quests at Heartglen for me, sending me directly to Eastern Plaguelands. However, before going there I had to increase my herb gathering skill to 225, ran to Brill to get training and got back to hit 230, to be able to get the Khadgar’s Whisker herbs and to advance for the Sungrass in Eastern Plaguelands.

In Eastern Plaguelands I almost finished with all the quests. Plenty of quests here now, and quite a few new quest hubs. Got ganked a few times by Alliance players at Tyr’s Hand and wasted quite some time there. The bastards always got me when I had 2-3 mobs on me, or when I was low HP. There’s quite plenty of PvP outdoor activity on the Outland server. Anyway, that’s kinda why I chose it so I shouldn’t whine about that.

Gilphor Horde Leveling Time for 4th Leveling Session - Part 2

Anyways, it’s time to end this chapter in Gilphor’s Horde leveling journal. I didn’t think I would hit level 45 in less than 1 day played. This is quite an achievement for me, and so far this Horde leveling guide works like a charm, leveling paths continues to be excellently optimized, there weren’t any glitches of the guide or the other addons that I use.

After 7 hours played today, I managed to hit level 37. So, here’s my post with the 3rd session in this Horde leveling journal. Gilphor, my pally, has 17 hours and 39 minutes so far. It looks like Zygor leveling guide is going to help me reach level 40 before having 1 day played. I would probably have more XP by now if I had Heirlooms.

I finished questing in Hillsbrad Foothills, Arathi Highlands, and Hinterlands today. At the moment I called it a day I’m half done with the quests in Western Plaguelands, I think. Spent a while gathering herbs in the southeastern corner of Hillsbrad Foothills quite plenty of Briarthorn and Mageroyal there. I had to raise my skill in Herbalism to 125, to be able to gather Kingsblood in Arathi.

Sadly, I remained behind on my Mining profession and I wasn’t able to gather the Tin Veins in Hillsbrad Foothills. I’m not going back to Eversong Woods or Tirisfal Glades to grind this profession though, at least not now. Gonna stick with the Zygor’s leveling path without any interruptions.

So far, this Horde leveling guide works fine, never found any important quests that were left out. I want to add something though. At Jintha’Alor you have to go up through the camp a couple of times to complete quests in the troll camp. There’s a shortcut though. You can teleport up there by speaking with Kotonga, near the other NPC quest givers and you can teleport down at the Totem of Akil’darah, at (58,67) .

>>> Gilphor’s Horde Leveling Journal – 4th Day

This is the 2nd leveling post in this Horde leveling journal, so I’m starting the second leveling session on Gilphor, however I don’t know how long I’m gonna stay logged in today. Probably until I will reach level 20, then call it a day.

Ding level 20! Can’t believe I reached 20 after only 7 hours played. Anyway,  I’m still over the guide with 1,5 levels. However, who cares, more XP for me. I’m going to carry on with the leveling up to level 25.

After 10 hours played, I managed to hit level 25. Wasted a little bit of time going to Silvermoon to get a mount. Silly me didn’t notice that as a Paladin you get one from the trainer. It was in my mounts inventory all the time, didn’t see it until I got a hawkstrider. Anyways, I like my red chicken-hawk-mount better than the Paladin’s charger, muahaha!

I can only say about Zygor Horde leveling guide “so far, so good”. I only found 1 or 2 NPC quest givers that were not mentioned in the leveling path. However, I don’t think I was even supposed to get those quests because they were taking me to other areas, apart from the optimized questing path. I’m sure there will be a correction on the next update.

Gilphor's Leveling Time For 2nd Day

Only played 4 hours on this leveling session and I’m calling it a day and closing this post in my Horde leveling journal.

>>> Gilphor’s Horde Leveling Journal – 3rd Day

Hi, I’m Gilphor and this will be my Horde Leveling Journal from 1 to 85, following Zygor Horde leveling guide. I decided to use this leveling guide, to give it a try, test it out and see if it is as fast as people say on the Internet.

I am going to start a new character on a new server – Gilphor, to see how it will go with no additional help, items or gold. I also have to inform you that I’m not exactly one of the World of Warcraft pros, I consider myself an average player. I only have one other maximum level character, unlike my crazy brother, which already has about 8 or 9.

I decided to play a Blood-Elf Paladin, on the Outland server.

As I enter the members area, the guides for both Horde and Alliance are there, but there are also plenty of bonus guides which I’m going to try a little bit later.

There are two ways to install this guide, but since I’m not exactly the best with programs, I’m going for the automatic client install. This will also put a Zygor updater on icon on your desktop. So far so good, this Zygor’s guide looks like a professional Horde leveling guide.

So…

A new Paladin is born. Here I am as Gilphor.  Since I haven’t used a leveling guide for World of Warcraft before, relying only on the one in game, I have to admit, Zygor Horde leveling guide is quite sweet so far. Reminds me a little bit of the Winamp interface, very easy to use. Really love the green dot that points me to the quest that is always better to do next.

A few tips here, in case you’re going to use it too as a leveling tool:

- You should disable the quest tracker and replace it with Zygor guide;
- You should always keep the guide open for 2 or 3 steps, to see what’s next;

When I reached Silvermoon, I picked up Herbalism and Mining because I really need all the gold I can get my hands on, on this new server. Also, I have to mention here that as I finished with the intro Blood Elf zone, Zygor guide mentioned that I should be level 12, yet I was already 13.5 due to these gathering professions. So, at least for the leveling of a character, in my opinion it’s best to go for these two WoW professions for the extra XP. You can always drop one later on.

When Zygor guide took me to the new Silverpine Forest I almost threw up laughing at the quest “Steel Thunder”. Not gonna spoil your fun here, you’ll have to do it yourself to see what’s about.

So, I end my first session in this Horde leveling journal. I decided to call it a day after 6 hours played, at level 17 and 15 lines. I could have probably gotten a much better time, but I always like to role play a little bit.
