I’ll bet that every time you have rolled a new Horde character, you had to look on the internet which zone you should go next, after you have finished questing in a certain area. Well, if you’re going to work with a Horde leveling guide, you won’t ever need to ALTTAB to look for information, because the best ones are in-game, work like addons etc.

However, if you’re not working with a guide, here are the best Horde leveling zones 1-85 that you should go through.

01. Durotar (1-11).
02. Silverpine Forest (11-20)
03. Hillsbrad Foothills (20-26)
04. Northern Stranglethorn (26-31)
05. Hinterlands (31-34)
06. Western Plaguelands (34-39)
07. Eastern Plaguelands (39-44)
08. Badlands (44-47)
09. Felwood (47-51)
10. Winterspring (51-55)
11. Un’Goro Crater (55-57)
12. Blasted Lands (57-60)

These are the best Horde leveling zones 1-60, that you should go through. As you can see, they’re on both Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Although at some points you will have to travel to the opposite continent, it will worth it.

Next, here are the Horde leveling zones 60-70:

13. Hellfire Peninsula (60-63)
14. Zangarmarsh (63-65)
15. Nagrand (65-67)
16. Netherstorm (67-70)

You can remain in Nagrand until level 68 if you want. However, avoid Blade’s Edge Mountains. Questing there sucks especially if you didn’t purchase your first flying mount yet.

Here are the zones in Northrend, for 70-80.

17. Borean Tundra (70-73)
18. Dragonblight (73-75)
19. Zul’Drak (75-77)
20. Sholazar Basin (77-79)
21. Icecrown (79-80)

Lastly, this is the best path for Horde from 80 to 85:

22. Mount Hyjal. (80-82 ½)
23. Vashj’ir (82 ½ – 83)
24. Deepholm (83-84)
25. Twilight Highlands (84-85).

This are the best Horde leveling zones 1-85. However, knowing them all is not enough, if you really want to level fast. For that reason, it’s best to work with a complete, in-game Horde leveling guide.

Horde Leveling Up Guide for Casual Players

Are you a World of Warcraft casual player? If that’s a “yes”, here’s a leveling up solution for players like you, a short Horde leveling up guide that will allow you to benefit from a high if not maximum amount of XP on each of your leveling sessions.

First of all, as you create a new character, join a guild. The higher the level of the guild, the better. Being part of a guild, you benefit from very nice perks that will help you a lot with your leveling process. For example, Mount Up increases your mounted speed by 10%, Fast Track (rank 1), which a guild unlocks at level 2, will boost your XP gain by 5%, and Fast Track (rank 2) will grant you an additional 5% XP. So, in guild that’s only level 6, you’ll get 10% more XP from quests and from monsters, and you’ll move by 10% faster when mounted.

Horde Leveling Guide - Sleeping OrcThe second aspect that I have to put in this short Horde leveling up guide stands for other XP bonus, the Rested XP. Every time you log out, make sure your character is in an inn.

This way, while you’re offline, your character will gather rested XP, and when you come online again, you’ll benefit from double XP from every creature you kill.

Third, complete only solo quests if you want to level fast, and make sure your quests are in your level range and above, not green.

To be sure you’re always at the right spot for questing, and to be sure you don’t waste time figuring the trickiest quests out, it’s best to work with an elite, in-game    Horde Leveling Up Guide. Lately I’ve been using Zygor’s Guide for leveling and I must say, questing really sucks without it now.

Horde Leveling Zones – Cataclysm Quest Hubs

Cataclysm not only that changed the whole 1-60 content in World of Warcraft, it has also brought to the WoW universe 5 new zones: Mount Hyjal, Vashj’ir, Deepholm, Uldum and Twilight Highlands.

However, with the XP bonus of a level 6 guild and a few heirloom items that grant XP bonuses you won’t have to go through all the Horde leveling zones Cataclysm has put in all 5 new regions. However, some of the quest hubs are important. So, in this post, I will point out which Horde leveling zones – Cataclysm you shouldn’t skip.

1. Mt. Hyjal. Although I have said “quest hubs” not entire leveling zones, in Mt. Hyjal it’s best to complete all the quests. You will get a lot of reputation with the Guardians of Hyjal faction, and this way unlock a couple of nice blue, level 83 items. Also, you will unlock the daily quests in the Molten Front.

2. Temple of Earth. This is the main quest hub in Deepholm, and you’ll inevitably get quests from here when you move to this elemental plane. However, if you’re going to spend some time in Hyjal, and complete as many quests as possible there, you won’t have to quest a lot in Deepholm.

3. Bloodgulch. Although this is not the most important Horde camp in Twilight Highlands, you should complete all the quests here, to get access to the dailies with the Dragonmaw Clan. Especially if you’re a warrior, paladin or death knight, you’re going to need the strength helm enchantment that you’ll gain access to, when you become Revered with this faction.

Anyway, it’s best to work with a pro Horde leveling guide, to be sure you won’t skip any of the important Horde leveling zones – Cataclysm.

Horde Leveling Tips for Fast Advancing

Have you just started a new Horde character? If so, here are a few great Horde leveling tips.

1. Ever since Cataclysm was released, many dungeons have changed. Some had their level adjusted, some of them were split in multiple other instances, but most importantly, most dungeons have now at least one or two NPCs at the entrance that give quests. That’s why, from time to time it’s not a bad idea to complete a dungeon that’s listed in orange or yellow in your dungeon finder, because the quests you will find inside will grant you huge XP.

2. Questing has always been the best way to level up in WoW. I believe that this one of the most important Horde leveling tips that someone can help a new Horde player with. But to get nice XP from quests, you should always follow the easiest quest path, stick to quests that are yellow to you, in areas with appropriate difficulty. Never waste time on quests that are difficult to your class. Always keep a low profile if you’re on a PvP server, and make sure you choose the right talent build for leveling. If your class can be a tank, than start your character with that particular tank spec. It helps.

3. As I said, questing is the best way to level up. You get a lot of XP from quests, but sometimes you can waste time looking for directions, or trying to figure out what you should do. That’s why, the last of the Horde leveling tips that I’m going to give you here, is to work with a Horde leveling addon. A guide like this will tell you explicitly what you must do, and where you must go. This way you’ll never waste time, and your XP rate will be always high.

What’s Your Horde Leveling Strategy?

Ever since World of Warcraft was released, players have come with many types of strategies that fit best to their play style. Not any Horde leveling strategy is great when it comes to keeping up a high XP rate.

So, in this post, I’m going to outline a bit, some of the leveling strategies that Horde players can follow these days, focusing on the pros and cons of these methods.

1. Grinding. In my opinion, just grinding on mobs at one of the well-known Horde leveling spots will never be a great method to level up. However, with a considerable XP bonus, from gear, rested XP, or various other buffs, you can still get decent XP, if you’re able to AoE large packs of mobs. Anyway, this method will always be boring.

2. Battlegrounds. I don’t remember which patch was it when XP in battlegrounds was introduced. Many players received the news with a lot of enthusiasm, because leveling up via BGs can be a lot of fun. However, if Horde loses 3-4 BGs in a row, this is not a viable Horde leveling strategy.

3. Gathering. This sounds crazy, and it’s definitely a bad idea just to level up by gathering resources. You will surely level up at snail speed. I know some players that have done that, but only because they had nothing better to do. Gathering is a good way to boost your XP by questing though. Picking up a mineral here, or a herb there will gather up a nice amount of XP over time.

Best Horde Leveling Strategy

Questing, has always been the best way to level up in WoW. But, if you want to level up your Horde character as quickly as possible, you need to know precisely what to do on each quest, and also which quest hub to choose at your current level. For that, the best Horde leveling strategy that I can recommend is to work with an in-game Horde leveling guide.
